Welcome to Roohm

✨ TL;DR: I’ve been learning to take things one day at a time - to find stillness in the in-between moments. Roohm is where those thoughts live now, one day at a time.

One minute I’m seeing an Instagram story of my nephew on a swing, smiling his chubby little smile – and the next I’m seeing children displaced and starving from political unrest.

Hi – I’m Manpreet, a 30-something Punjabi gal and I find myself having this constant mental battle.

I feel guilty that I have a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear – and that my biggest worry is accepting a social invite a week in advance when I don’t know if I’m actually going to be mentally up for it by the time it rolls around.

What am I supposed to do with all that? How do I live a good life when so much feels wrong around me? Do I donate? If I donate, how do I know this money will actually go to those children?

Are you sensing my spiral here?

With everything just a tap away, it’s no wonder how anxious we’ve become as a society. I don’t think we were meant to absorb as much information as we do at the rate that we do.

You know how our parents are always talking about missing the ‘good old days’? Why is that? Back then you had to make time to know what was going on – wait for the news to come on, wait for the newspaper to get delivered, wait for the dial up internet to connect. Now, it’s the opposite – we don’t have to seek anything out. Instead, it finds us. Everywhere.

What Roohm Is

I’d like to invite you to enter Roohm – a space for reflection, simplicity, and slow growth.

A reminder that not everything needs to change, just the way we see it.

Inside Roohm

In a saturated information world, you can stop by Roohm and take what you need: a small shift in perspective, a cultural reflection, a piece of advice (so you don’t make the same mistakes I have), or maybe you’re just looking for some new music to listen to.

One Day at a Time

Bring back that feeling of the ‘good old days’ without losing touch with the advancements of today – one day at a time, inside Roohm.

An Invitation

If you could step into your own Roohm today, what would it hold?

See you inside,

Manpreet
